Mr. Wilson O. Anelu hailed from Egoro na-oka, Ekpoma in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State. He was born on the 26^th February, 1970.
He attended Uwa Primary School, Benin City from 1976 to 1981 and obtained his First Leaving Certificate after which he proceeded to Immaculate Conception College from 1981 – 1987 where he completed his Senior Secondary School Education.  
Mr. W. O. Anelu proceeded to the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Lagos State from 1992 to 1995 where he obtained Ordinary National Diploma in Accountancy. In order to advance in his educational pursuit, he was admitted into Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma where he successfully completed his Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Accounting with Second Class Upper Division in 2008.
In his quest to advance in his education, he registered with Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) and later qualified as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2011. Thereafter, he became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 2017.

Furthermore, in his determination to advance in his education and career, he was admitted to Wellspring University, Benin City where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Accountancy in the year 2022.

Mr. W.O. Anelu commenced his work experience in 1997 with an Audit Firm, Patrick Iwelomen and Co. National Accountants. He later worked with Lucky Igbinedion Guest House as a Manager from 1999 to 2022. Thereafter, he taught in a Commercial Secondary School, Benin City from 2002 to 2007. He also worked as an Accountant in Hexagon Network Limited. He later got an employment with Edo State Civil Service and deployed to Office of the Auditor-General as an Auditor in 2010.
