FUNCTIONING DIRECTOR, DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS

Mr. Ojo Osazee Bonafides hailed from Uhi in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State. He was born on the 8th September, 1968.

He attended Akugbe Primary School, Uhimwento from 1972- 1978 where he obtained his First Leaving Certificate and thereafter proceeded to Uhi Grammar School, Uhi from 1979 to 1984 where he completed his Senior Secondary School Education. 

Mr. B. O. Ojo proceeded to the prestigious Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma from 1992 -1997 where he successfully completed his Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Accounting in 1997.

In his quest to advance in his profession, he registered with Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and later qualified as a Certified National Accountant in 2014. Thereafter, he became an Associate member of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 2018. Also, he qualified as an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management in 2022.

His Public Service sojourn commenced in Edo State Post Primary Education Board in April, 2004 as a Master II on Grade Level 08 and his appointment was confirmed with effect from April, 2006. He was later deployed to Office of the Auditor-General (State) in 2005 and re-designated to Auditor Cadre in 2008. He rose through rank and file to the post of Assistant Chief Auditor Grade Level 13.

Mr. B. O. Ojo worked in various outstation offices where he occupied several positions as under listed

He is currently the Head of Finance and Accounts.

He is happily married to Mrs. Stella Obiageli Ojo and blessed with children.
